Peter Jackson's pictures, Ralph Bakshi's soundtrack from 1978, my cut. See it in HIGH QUALITY!!! "Guardroom in Moria - The bridge of Khazad-dûm." Here we are again! Bakshi is loyal to the book, and Jackson isn't. Pippin shall throw a stone in a well in a guardroom, not a skull in a well in the chamber of the fight. But that's what editing is about. I think it works. And then (loyal to the book) the cave troll is first to force the door in Bakshi's film and last in Jackson's. And I didn't know how I should make Frodo stab the troll (as in the book and in Bakshi's film), until I remembered that Jackson has a scene were Pippin does the same thing. In the book and in Bakshi's film Frodo reveals the mithril shirt after they have come out, and Bakshi uses birdsong at that time. So to disguise the birds I cut in some lovely music, though Jackson's Frodo show his friends the shirt in the mine.
